Welcome!

I’m so glad you’re here.

Dream Big is about my writing journey.

One or twice a month, I post about:

  • Finding writing in my 40s

  • Embracing a creative life

  • Writing my first novel

  • Everyday moments that inspire me as I juggle family life and my writing dream

Right now, Dream Big is free. I may revisit paid options in the future, but that’s a decision for another day.

In the meantime, thank you so much for being here. I am sincerely grateful for all my readers and our growing community. I hope you’ll stick around!

About Me

I am a former teacher, mother of three boys, and now a writer. I came to writing later in life, but I believe it is never too late to chase a new dream. If you can, listen to those whispers.

I’ve published a few short stories and personal essays. My fiction, so far, falls in the contemporary/women’s fiction genres; while these types of stories are some of my favorites to read, I enjoy reading widely and beyond what I write.

Currently, I’m tackling what has been my goal all along: With the help of The Novelry, I’m finally writing my first novel. In some ways, as I get the words down, I feel like I’m already living my dream.

As an American raised overseas, I now reside on the beautiful Central Coast of California with my family. Sometimes I miss a good thunderstorm or the changing seasons, but I’m quite happy to never shovel snow again.

Thank you so much for checking out Dream Big. I hope you’ll join me on this writing adventure.
